The sliding surface of an SKF wrapped bronze bushing contains diamond shaped pockets that must initially be filled with grease. The pockets act as reservoirs to progressively release lubricant during operation. SKF wrapped bronze bushings are insensitive to contaminated environments. These bushings are well suited for machinery that must operate in highly contaminated environments and where shock loads and/or vibrations occur.
